By integrating VISA’s globally trusted infrastructure and advanced blockchain encryption, GuCard provides a multi-layered security framework designed to safeguard every payment, whether it’s a crypto conversion, a fiat transaction, or a vendor settlement.
At the core of GuCard’s security is tokenization, a process that replaces sensitive card information with unique, encrypted tokens. Each transaction generates a one-time token that’s securely transmitted to the merchant. This ensures raw card data is never exposed, drastically reducing the risk of fraud or data breaches. For example, when a user swipes their GuCard at a retail store, their card number and CVV are replaced with a randomized token that only VISA can decrypt, completing the transaction securely.
Additionally, GuCard leverages blockchain encryption to add an extra layer of security for crypto transactions. Blockchain’s immutable ledger guarantees that every transaction is traceable and tamper-proof, giving users and businesses peace of mind. For high-value or sensitive transactions, multi-factor authentication (MFA) is required, adding a second layer of verification through the Gumart Super App.
